Biography and about
ABOUT
I am a music producer that likes making laid back wavy instrumental songs and beats by creating lush emotional pieces driven by lush sound design, strong chord progressions, and moving melodies.
Listening to music i've always been amazed how a collection of notes, instruments, and words stringed through time would evoke so much feeling and mentally take me to another world.
I believe i’ve always been interested in music, being signed up to a music cultural program when I was a kid and having fond memories of it and signing up for choir and a program where I was given the freedom to mess around with instruments all I really remember is banging on a xylophone. Although I didn’t enjoy being forced to take band and play pieces I wasn’t very interested in. I did believe being exposed to that did change my feelings on music and to broaden my perspective. In my early teen years I got really into rap music, messing around I would write some lyrics and found they were pretty good So I got a blue usb microphone and a musical keyboard and a copy of Fl Studio to try to create instrumentals and record myself. During this time I was also fascinated how the instrumentals usually composed of a few bars of looping music could sound so diverse, captivating, and could evoke such strong feelings and create such a vivid picture.
As I got better at music production I found myself more interested in that then recording music myself as a rapper. Learning composition and theory about all the ways and techniques I could use to put together chords and melodies became a world I found myself getting lost in that world of possibilities. Analysing instrumental music like game music and the production of songs I loved made me see music in an entirely different way. Being exposed to sound design and synthesizers allowed me to carefully craft a unique soundscape that would take listeners to another realm. Pairing great melodies and composition with interesting sound design and selection lets me entertain listeners and give artists a partially filled canvas to paint in.
I’m surprised I would find myself so interested in music composition and theory after being forced to take band in middle school.
